ACCREDITATION

Accreditation; in general terms, is a process intended for promoting the quality, efficiency and productivity of programs/institutions; which also involves the process of being evaluated and approved by a nationally/internationally recognized independent organization for meeting established standards and certain criteria, and is usually carried out on a voluntary basis. Within this framework, the objective of accreditation in the field of language education is for all the stakeholders (managers, academic members, students, and so on) to focus on the mission-vision of the institution, to self-evaluate the work performance to identify its strengths and weaknesses and hence promote and enhance the institution’s language education quality, transparency, reliability, and prestige. Undergoing the Accreditation Process contributes to increased awareness of quality and continuous development.
